We are thrilled to announce that the EntoFARM Circular Economy Educational Toolkit is officially published and ready for use in classrooms. This comprehensive resource is designed to help teachers bring the concepts of sustainability and the circular economy to life through the lens of innovative insect farming.
What’s Inside the Toolkit?
The toolkit features five interactive modules that transform complex environmental theories into engaging, hands-on lessons:
Introduction to Circular Economy: Understanding the basics of waste reduction and resource management.
Sustainable Agriculture: Exploring how we can produce food responsibly.
Insect Farming Models: Using EntoFARMs to show circular systems in action.
Waste-to-Resource Conversion: Learning how organic waste becomes valuable protein and fertilizer.
Sustainability in Daily Life: Practical steps for students to take home to their communities.
Open-Source and Inclusive
In line with our commitment to educational equity, the EntoFARM toolkit is an open-source resource. We want to ensure that all schools, including those in rural or underserved areas with limited financial resources, have access to high-quality, innovative tools for environmental education.
