Empowering Teachers for a Sustainable Future: Highlights from the ENTOFARM Webinar

On 26 March 2026, the Association for Internationalization in Education and Science – Inter-Edu successfully organized a capacity-building webinar for natural science teachers in North Macedonia, as part of the Erasmus+ project “Promoting Circular Economy Strategies through Open Source Insect Farm Technology among School Children (ENTOFARM)”.


The online session, conducted via Google Meet and delivered in Macedonian, brought together 20 dedicated teachers, all eager to explore innovative approaches to sustainability and education.


📚 What the Webinar Covered


The webinar provided participants with both theoretical insights and practical tools, including:


  • An introduction to the ENTOFARM project, its objectives, activities, and consortium

  • A detailed presentation on how to set up an insect farm (ento farm) using the project’s modules and guides

  • Information on project dissemination channels, including social media platforms

  • An interactive discussion session, allowing teachers to exchange ideas and experiences


Key highlights included:

  • Active participation and high engagement from all attendees

  • Practical, hands-on guidance tailored for classroom implementation

  • Positive feedback and enthusiasm for future use of ENTOFARM resources
